1. Find the beat that fits the song.
Write down the exact title and producer. Try a rough verse and hook before choosing. The BPM and key are useful starting points, but your performance is the test. Our Detroit beats guide gives you a quick listening checklist; the voice-fit guide goes deeper.
2. Compare the files you will receive.
Check whether the offer includes an MP3, WAV, separate instrument tracks, or another agreed delivery. If you plan to request mixing, ask which files the engineer needs before you select a license. Keep a copy of the description and confirm any missing deliverable with the seller.
3. Read the specific agreement.
Use a short checklist when comparing offers:
- Who is providing the beat, and which version does the agreement cover?
- What releases and uses are described, and are there any limits or expiry dates?
- What does the agreement say about exclusivity, earlier licenses, credits and retained rights?
- Which files, delivery method and support contact are included?
- What does the seller state about changes, cancellations and refunds?

4. Confirm the checkout and delivery path.
Before paying, verify that the seller, beat title, chosen license, total and agreement all match. Save the order confirmation and the agreement. Confirm how you will receive your files and whom to contact if something is missing.
Helluva Studio is currently a catalog preview. Its sample audio is not Helluva inventory for sale. Payments, signed beat orders and commercial beat delivery are not enabled. Selecting a demo license does not buy or reserve a beat.
5. Prepare the record for its finish.
Once you have the permissions and files for your project, keep an untouched copy of the delivery, label your recording tracks and export a rough mix. Follow the stem preparation guide before requesting mixing and mastering.
